Flora and fauna of Jibacoa, Cuba
Since our trip to Bali (Indonesia) in 2005, I now dedicate a section to all our websites of the flora and fauna of the countries we had the chance to visit. Cuba's flora is abundant. I would leave it up to experts in this field to list the names of flowers and trees we photographed. However if you know the names, you may contact me by email and I will add the names.

PLEASE NOTE The photo of the tarantula above (very nice, by the way) was not taken in the hotel sector, but during a trek in the neighbor province of Mayabeque (Jibacoa). These creatures hide in holes and only come out when they sense a prey. It is therefore, difficult to see because they are well hidden.
